What is a shortfill?
A shortfill is an e-liquid that doesn’t contain nicotine.
The reason why these e-liquids are called ‘shortfills’ is that they contain 100ml of liquid in a 120ml bottle. This means you can add the additional e-liquid of your choice to create a custom-made blend.
Shortfills exist because of TPD regulations. Manufacturers are only allowed to make 10ml bottles of e-liquids containing nicotine, so these big bottles are our workaround!
So why choose a shortfill?
A shortfill gives you more control over the amount of nicotine you want to use. Just mix your shortfill with the nic shot of your choice, shake thoroughly, and pour into your tank.
Shortfills are also more cost-effective. By mixing a 10ml bottle of e-liquid with your shortfill, you can save money and make your vape juice last longer.
Plus, as there’s less packaging and less plastic, you’re doing your bit to help the environment too!
Do I have to add nicotine to my shortfill?
Nope, not at all! If you are a fan of vaping but don’t need the nicotine hit, then you can use them on their own.
What nic shots are available?
We offer a wide range of nic shots so you can customise your shortfill liquid to your liking.
- You can choose from nic salts or freebase nicotine so you can enjoy either a smooth or rough throat hit
- You can increase the concentration of VG or PG in your e-liquid. This means you can add additional vapour or enhance the flavour of your vape respectively
- You can choose the right strength for your needs. For example, if you’re a heavy smoker, you’ll want a higher strength nic shot than someone who is a social smoker
- There are also flavoured nic shots so that you can add a fizzy tang or icy hit to your liquid
The combinations are endless!
Shortfills sound a bit complicated…
Not at all! Many newbies think shortfills are for more advanced vapers, but the reality is that anyone can use them. Just add your nic shot to your shortfill, shake thoroughly, and you’re ready to go!
The key is knowing which shortfill you want to combine with which nic shot.
